Performed Tests
DSC Test
A thermal analysis technique used to study the thermal properties of materials, including polymers. In polymer analysis, it provides essential information on their thermal properties, including sample composition.
Flexural Test
The flexural modulus test measures the mechanical properties of plastic materials under bending stress. It determines the material’s resistance to bending and provides key data such as flexural modulus, flexural strength and strain at break.
Izod Test
This test is used to compare the toughness of different plastic materials and ensure their suitability for the intended mechanical applications. It primarily assesses impact resistance and is particularly useful for applications in which materials may be subjected to impact. Results can vary significantly depending on factors such as temperature, notch type, specimen thickness and pendulum speed.
In-Line Quality Control Tests
